Two interesting facts have come out in the past week from the minutes of the most recent Board of Trustees meeting.
Penn State pays $170,000 a year to Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center to house the football team every night before a home game. Jan Murphy of the Patriot News did the numbers and found that averages to $21,250 per game– roughly the same cost as a year of tuition, room, and board for a Pennsylvania resident.
Veblen over at Left of Centre found that the contract between Penn State and Toftrees has actually increased 40% over the last two years …
State needed his outside shooting prowess last night to eke out a victory over Iowa, 63-59.
