‘Everybody Must Get Stoned’ Before Dylan @ BJC

Now, this is only a suggestion.

But for those fans of the reference may already understand that Mr. Robert Zimmerman, a.k.a. Bob Dylan, will be performing at the Bryce Jordan Center on Nov. 9 at 8 pm, according to the artist’s website.

Finals Schedule Released

Penn State released fall semester final exam schedules last night.

For our younger readers, to check your finals schedule, you log onto eLion, and scroll down to "Final Exam Schedule." Pretty simple, right?

As you can see by my schedule in the picture, I got off pretty easy this semester with only 2 finals (the benefits of being an IST major). What about you? How does your finals schedule look?

IAH Used Democracy and Zombies to Pick Films

I had the opportunity to ask IAH Director Michael Bérubé how and why the Institute for the Arts and Humanities chose the films for the upcoming “Bad Futures” Festival. The explanation involved voting, polite discourse, and zombie death matches.

I’ve included Bérubé’s explanation for each film's inclusion. My own cynical comments are also listed, free of charge.

Interesting Mural Outside Beaver Stadium

Because who doesn't think: "Oh, I have some free time today. I think I'll go paint a mural outside the stadium."

Regardless, this is still pretty sweet. Enjoy.

Faccia Luna is for Lovers

All right boys, listen up.

We're far enough into the semester now that you've probably had a chance to size up your classes, and maybe you've noticed a girl or two that you might want to take out.

You want somewhere classy but not intimidating, fun but not tacky, and affordable but not cheap.

Faccia Luna is the place for you. Located on South Atherton, this Italian restaurant is a little-known treasure started by two Alpha Sigma Phi brothers from Penn State, Bill McFadden and Joe Corey.
