Follow @AbolishCancer to Help THON Beat Cancer

THON is teaming up with Abolish Cancer again to raise money For The Kids. What better day for a combined effort to beat cancer than World Cancer Day?

To participate in today’s TwitterTHON all you have to do is follow @abolishcancer on twitter  – easy enough. One dollar will be donated to THON for every new follower to the @abolishcancer account.

Last year’s TwitterTHON raised $2,500 – this year the goal is $3,000. That means there would need to be 3,000 new followers today. So tweet your friends, create a twitter account if you don’t already have one, and make use of today’s world-wide hashtag #FollowFriday (or #FF) to help @THON @AbolishCancer.

With 14 days til THON check out this YouTube video “No Limits” made by THON 2010 Entertainment Captain Eric Rosengard.

Stoop Kid’s Afraid to Leave the Stoop

Editor and graduating senior Caity Rogowski writes about living the questions, facing fears, sharing burdens, and accepting reality.

“If you’ve ever seen the movie You’ve Got Mail, you’ll understand me when I say I have the “Kathleen Kelly Syndrome.” I often have trouble saying exactly what I mean. Instead, I find it easier to outsource by using quotes or songs to convey my message. That’s why you’ll find a few of my favorites scattered throughout this post: my senior column.”
