Last week, OneSchool announced that it was releasing an updated version of its app, which it did on Tuesday. I have spent the past week testing the new version, seeing how beneficial this app would be for Penn State students. I was fortunate enough to have also downloaded it before the update, and can safely say that the app made major improvement. However, these upgrades fail to convince me that OneSchool is worth the memory on your smartphone. I reviewed the nine features that OneSchool bundles, and I am dissatisfied with the experience that I had.
It is sometimes difficult to remember the permanent stain that the media placed on Joe Paterno’s legacy. There aren’t many people who don’t know at least something about what happened at Penn State this past November. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has unfriended someone on Facebook because of a crude comment, or unfollowed someone on Twitter following an inappropriate joke. But social media can help bring us together just as easily as it creates divides amongst us.
The Penn State women's basketball team lost for the first time in nearly a month by a score of 83-77 against Michigan State on Sunday. The Lady Lions' five-game win streak was ended by the Spartans, who were led by 32 points from Porsche Poole. False claims into the legitimacy of a new potential downtown nightclub have prompted two investigations into the source of those claims. State College Police Sgt. Greg Brauser said an investigation determined Levels Nighclub is not a fraudulent business, despite claims on Facebook suggesting otherwise.
