Meet the Battling Bands

Twelve student musical acts will compete in Movin' On's Battle of the Bands this Saturday at 9 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Two winners will be opening for the 2012 lineup on Friday, April 27. Find out more about the competitors after the jump.

Maggie Lucas Earns AP All-America Honorable Mention Accolades

Maggie Lucas, a Penn State Lady Lions guard, was awarded AP All-America honorable mention commendations for her impress sophomore season. Lucas averaged 19.5 points on 42.9 percent shooting this year along with 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

PSU Fencer Aleks Ochocki Grabs His Second NCAA Championship

It has all come full circle for Aleks Ochocki, the Clark, N.J. native who won the NCAA championship in saber his freshman year. This past weekend, after already being named an All-American for the fourth consecutive season, Ochocki defeated Valentin Staller of Harvard 15-11 in the gold medal match, finishing his final year at Penn State with a second NCAA championship victory.

THON 2013 Overall Committee Announced

Tonight, new THON overall Will Martin found out who he would be working towards building a great THON 2013 with as the rest of his overall committee was announced. You can find the list of the 14 new members of the overall committee after the jump.
