Pennsylvania Senator Files Resolution Congratulating THON

While THON was busy last week announcing the 2013 Overall Committee that would team with 2013 Overall Will Martin, a Pennsylvania senator also took the time to acknowledge the philanthropic event before Congress in Washington D.C.

Pennsylvania senator Bob Casey (D) introduced the following resolution last Thursday:

Students are always expressing their desire for more media coverage and national recognition during THON weekend each February. While this is not necessarily CNN or some other national newscast; it is nevertheless, something to be proud of.

THON - The IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), the most ubiquitous event on campus, has been in existence since 1973. THON currently benefits the Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Milton S.
