Paterno Biography Available for Preorder

The new highly-anticipated Joe Paterno biography, written by SI.com sportswriter Joe Posnanski, is now available for preorder on Amazon.

The book covers Paterno’s entire life, including the scandal surrounding former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky. Posnanski lived in State College for the last two years of Paterno’s life, constantly talking and learning about Paterno, and was there when the scandal broke. Posnanski was in his hospital room for the final days of his life, and should have more groundbreaking stories to tell.

The book is available on Amazon.com for $18.00, and will be released on August 28, 2012.

Check out an excerpt of the book, written just days after Coach Paterno died.

With the combination of Paterno’s career and Posnanski’s credentials as a writer, this book is sure to be a must read.

About the Author

Alex Robinson

Alex Robinson was Onward State's Acting Managing Editor/Resident Old Man. He lived in Harrisburg almost his whole life, but he says he's from California -- where he was born -- because that's more fun. He loves cats and Chinese food, but only separately. He met both Ben Affleck and Kanye West within a half hour, so the three of them are basically best friends. If you want to hear his #scorching #hot #takes, you can follow him at @ARobinsonPSU or email him at [email protected].
