Getwireless Offers Best Internet Deal for Your Apartment

Do you need internet? Of course you do. That is how you are reading this post, isn’t it?

One of the biggest decisions when moving off campus is picking the right Internet provider. Whether this is your first year out of the dorms or you’re an apartment veteran, it’s important to get on top of your internet decision before returning to State College.

We have a suggestion and a special offer for you. Our parent company also owns and runs getwireless.net, which is a totally local Internet service provider owned and operated by Penn State graduates. Getwireless has been focused on providing high quality Internet to Penn State students since 2005.

Getwireless provides Internet services to all GN Associates buildings, AW and Son’s properties, The Meridian, Calder Commons, and many Associated Realty (ARPM) properties. Service is also available in all NDC properties buildings. For a complete building list check here: Buildings Served.

In most cases Getwireless will also work with your landlord to have service installed and tested in your apartment before you even arrive!

They offer the fastest bandwidth for the lowest cost in the market.  It is as low as $29.95 a month with free installation, free modem rental and a no price increase guarantee. Here’s the price breakdown:

12mb/s-> $29.95
20mb/s-> $34.95
50mb/s-> $59.95

For those who want REALLY fast Internet:
100mb/-> $94.95

There’s more…

Onward State negotiated a deal with Getwireless to offer the equivalent of month of Internet free to students who signup by the the last day in June. When you sign up, just mention Onward State and you’ll receive a free $30 BestBuy giftcard to do with as you please. It’s a great deal and you’ll already be on the right track with this special offer!

Getwireless offers the least expensive coverage in the area. Comcast charges $49.95 for 6mb/s plus installation fee if you get it without a special. Windstream only offers a maximum speed of 12mb/s for your apartment and it is $15/more per month than Getwireless. When looking at other service provider’s offers and deals watch out for Modem rental fees and limited time offers where the plans go up to full rate after 3 or 6 months effectively canceling out any savings and in effect costing you more.

Check out Getwireless’s student page for more information on how to sign up today. Getwireless offers a 24 hour a day live help desk to assist you in the event you have any issues. And remember to mention the Onward State deal!

*Disclaimer: Getwireless.net is associated with Lazerpro Digital Media, the publisher of Onward State. Gift cards will be sent in September after your first payment for service is received.
