Did Someone Say Free Hats? Men’s Basketball Promo Schedule Released
Everyone knows half the reason to go to Penn State basketball games is for the free stuff. The basketball marketing department, once again, did not disappoint with this year’s promotional schedule.
Many beloved traditions are back, including three Dollar Dog Nights, three free hat nights, and the 70-point Big Mac attack. The team will also host the second annual Uplifting Athletes Pushup Challenge on February 15 vs. Iowa.
Student Bus Night is the newest promotion this year — although it’s really more of a service. For the Bucknell and LaSalle games, Penn State will offer free buses to pick up folks from the west side of campus near frat row and drop them off directly at the BJC.
As Nittany Nation president Darnell Brady put it, “We want to make it as easy as possible to get from one’s apartment to the BJC.”
