Upright Citizens Brigade Tour Company Comes to the HUB

The Upright Citizens Brigade Tour Company will make a stop at Alumni Hall this Thursday, January 30, at 8 p.m. Presented by SPA, the performance is free with a valid Penn State student ID (aka State College High kids can’t crash).

UCB is an improv troupe, which means all jokes and skits are not prepared beforehand and improvised. Penn State’s own improv troupe, Full Ammo Improv, will open for the group.

UCB has churned out lots of funny people, like Amy Poehler (“Parks and Rec”), Jack McBrayer (“30 Rock”), Horatio Sanz (“Saturday Night Live”), Ellie Kemper (“The Office, Bridesmaids”), and Rob Riggle (“The Daily Show”). While I can’t promise any of the players will be as funny as Amy Poehler, you can hope that one of the performers eventually becomes famous and brag about seeing them “before their prime.”
