Penn State Lands Commitment of 3-Star CB Myles Hartsfield

James Franklin is at it again, this time landing 3-star cornerback Myles Hartsfield out of Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, New Jersey, per Lions24/7.

The cornerback, who measures 5-foot-10, held offers from Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, and Cincinnati. Many believed that Rutgers was the front-runner for Hartsfield, but we all know that James Franklin likes to #DominatetheGardenState too. Hartsfield is the third defensive back to commit to the Nittany Lions in this recruiting class, with safeties Ayron Monroe and Jarvis Miller already giving their verbal commitment to Franklin.

Hartsfield is rated a three-star defensive back by all major recruiting websites, ranked as the 56th best cornerback in the nation by 24/7 Sports and 27th by Rivals.

This is now Penn State’s 16th verbal commitment for the 2015 class. You can check out Hartsfields’ junior year highlights below.
