What does it take to become a God? That’s the concept former Onward Stater Alex Goncalves is exploring in an experimental hip hop project. Goncalves is developing a character he calls, “Mikado,” or emperor, as he crafts his first album titled, “Hegemon.” His song “Origins” is the first completed song on the album, which explores the life Mikado as he achieves the status of a God.
