The Best Penn State Spring Break Photos Of 2016

We asked for your best spring break photos and you delivered! Students traveled across the globe and made some unforgettable memories long the way. It was hard to pick, but we narrowed it down to our six favorites. Without further ado, here are your best spring break photos:

“Staters in La La Land”

Name: Karol Kolc

Visit: Los Angeles, California

Visited With: David Irizarry, Sujyot Mony, Thomas Prinzi, Divyan Sehgal, Tina Lee

Favorite Memory: Karol’s favorite moment was when he and his friends attended Conan as audience members. At the end of the show, Conan O’Brien acknowledged their Penn State flag on live television.

“Monkeying Around”

Name: Kaylee Joseph

Visit: Cancun, Mexico

Favorite Memory: Kaylee’s favorite memory was hanging around with this monkey, Curtis. Aside from that, her and five friends were able to attend a Cash Cash concert.

“Costa Rican Cruise”

Name: Madison Underwood

Visit: Tamarindo, Costa Rica

Visited With: Best friend/roommate Rachel

Favorite Memory: Madison’s favorite memory of the trip was riding tubes down white water rapids in Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park and hanging out by the pool.

“The Last Supper”

Visit: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Visited With: His friends Max, John, Anthony, Victor, Skyler, Emily, Morgan, Melanie, Nikki, and Tori.

Favorite memory: Mike’s favorite memory was landing on the ground after going skydiving with all of his limbs still connected.

The group recreated the famous Leonardo Di Vinci “Last Supper” painting, definitely beating last year when they recreated Washington crossing the Delaware.

“Foreign Affairs”

Name: Katie Blitz

Visit: Czech Republic (Prague, Brno, Ostrava)

Visitied with: COMM 419H: World Media Systems: Professor Michael Elavsky, Azeta Hatef, Caroline Briselli, Tim Chen, Lauren Donatelli, Lisa Gardner, Cindy Garza, Amanda Green, Elissa Hill, Abby Jackson, Emily Kohlman, Valerie Osipov, Emily Staley, Ellis Stump and Katie Warrington meeting with the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Andrew Schapiro.

Favorite memory: Katie’s favorite memory was meeting college students in the Czech Republic, seeing the opportunities that are available to the locals, and going beyond the tourist experience.

“The Cliff and Moher”

Name: Lizzy Murashige

Visited: Dublin, Ireland

Visited with: Friends and family

Favorite memory: Lizzy was there with family and friends to visit Shane Ryan, a Penn State swimmer who greyshirted to live in Ireland to qualify for the Irish Olympic team. Shane qualified on the first day of Lizzy and co.’s trip. Her favorite memory was “being able to celebrate with him on going to Rio…although the Cliffs of Moher were incredible, also.” Lizzy’s photo was taken at the cliffs.
