Maryland Suspends Isaiah Davis One Game For Hit On Joey Julius

Maryland Football Coach DJ Durkin announced at his weekly press conference that he has suspended Isaiah Davis for his late hit on Joey Julius during this weekend’s game.

Davis was ejected during the game this weekend for the hit, and post-game Durkin voiced his frustration with Davis, saying “If he wasn’t thrown out of the game, he was going to be removed by me.”

This is the second week in a row a player was ejected for a hit on Julius after Minnesota player Jaylen Waters was ejected the previous week.

With two players already ejected this season, and now one suspended, will opponents finally get the message to leave Joey alone?
