Salvation Is Here: You Can Charge Your Phone At THON

The best part of THON? Pretty much everything. One of the worst parts? Your phone only has so much battery, and the lack of service doesn’t help it last very long. THON isn’t exactly friendly about letting you post up next to an outlet either, making it difficult to keep your phone alive in the later hours of THON. Luckily, the BJC and AT&T are here to (at least slightly) help.

This year, the BJC features two phone charging stations to service your electronic needs. Located at portal eight, the stations feature a total of eight iPhone lightning chargers, eight micro-USB chargers and various other chargers for those with more unique phones.

The stations, while nice for some, will likely amass large lines once THON gets into full swing. Much like the water fountains and water bottle filling stations around the Jordan Center concourse, your best bet is to go early and stock up on battery before the lines leave you out of luck.

About the Author

Mike Reisman

is a senior Supply Chain Management major with an Economics minor (Read: Business Douche) from South Jersey. He has an intense fear of graduating so please don't bring it up. He writes about stupid things nobody cares about, and student life if the site is low on content that is clearly supposed be funny but is really very unfunny. He is lovingly (?) known around the staff as Baby Mike which may or may not be because he has a child (hint: it’s not). He’s also a second generation Penn Stater who has been wearing Penn State sweatshirts since before he was two, a habit he hasn’t grown out of. If you really hate yourself, you can follow him on twitter at @mike_reisman or email him at [email protected]
