A Compilation Of Penn State Gameday Instagram Captions

Scrolling through your Instagram feed on a game weekend in Happy Valley often goes something like this: tailgate picture, stadium picture, cute dog picture, tailgate picture, stadium picture, cute dog at a tailgate picture.

Every football game is an opportunity to post on Instagram and as the season goes on, it can be hard to think of an all-important caption.

Luckily, we’re here to help. We’ve compiled a list of some of the best and worst Penn State Instagram captions — we’ll let you decide which is which.

Staters gonna state — New drinking game: take a shot every time you see this caption on a game day weekend (or anytime, for that matter).

PS(I love)U — See above instructions.

TailSTATEing — Ha, we see what you did there. This a bit more creative than the previous two, good work.

Saquon for President/Say what? Saquon — These captions only became popular recently, but they seem to have more than their fair share of uses.

Winner winner chicken (basket) dinner – Finally, a caption that focuses on what is truly important.

In our Happy (Valley) place/Big Happy (Valley) family – These are both perfect for returning alumni and students alike. There is nothing like a Saturday in the happiest of valleys.

Rate: Ten/Penn (State) — This play on the recent rating trend is pretty creative, nice work to whoever came up with this one.

Who’s excited that it’s gameday? WE ARE — While friends from other schools may not be able to fully appreciate this one, all of your Penn State friends will share the feeling.

People trying to say Penn State can’t (blank) but they be (Nittany) Lyin’ — Major props to whoever came up with this one first. Fill in the black with whatever you feel is applicable and you have an A+ Instagram caption.

And last, but not least…

It’s (insert time) and Michigan still sucks — For this caption, it doesn’t even matter what the picture is of or what game it is. It always applies.
