4:12 p.m. — Your THON 2020 total is… $11,696,942.38 all #FTK!!!

4:05 p.m. — Here are this year’s top fundraising organizations: Dancer Relations placed first among committees, with $132,081. Zachary Sowa and Eric Gaspich led all Independent Dancer Couples with $48,725.27. Fayette paved the way for all of the Commonwealth Campuses with $71,063.48. Phi Gamma Nu led all general organizations with $114,481.77. For Greek organizations, Alpha Tau Omega and Zeta Tau Alpha raised the most money with $291,081.06. Lastly, Eclipse came in first for special interest organizations with $158,169.93.

4:00 p.m. — After a countdown led by the Exec Commitee, the dancers are sitting!

3:58 p.m. — That’s it! Two minutes remain in THON 2020! The BJC is roaring!

3:52 p.m. — Go Go Gadget’s set ends, and the THON 2020 Executive Committee is about to lead the final line dance of THON 2020!

3:50 p.m. — Name a better duo. We’ll wait.

3:47 p.m. — Song No. 1 is Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.” Seems to have been mixed with an original rap.

3:47 p.m. — Gadget’s on to its last song, which is a mashup of two songs that they say they’ve only played once.

3:44 p.m. — The opening chords of “September” draw cheers from the BJC crowd.

3:44 p.m. — Tail Guitar and a little keyboard playing from the Nittany Lion! Zach Sowa, the man behind the mask, danced in THON this year and has been standing for just over 45.5 hours.

3:42 p.m. — The Nittany Lion is center-stage with Gadget’s frontmen, dancing to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

3:38 p.m. — “Zombie Nation,” an obvious crowd favorite, into “Sandsorm.” The BJC is going off.

3:38 p.m. — Lion King remix, complete with Nittany Lion Zach Sowa!

3:32 p.m. — Classic! “Diamonds” into “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”

3:32 p.m. — “Diamonds” by Rihanna has the BJC crowd bumping, and probably trying to predict the next awesome transition.

3:31 p.m. — Now we’re into a live trumpet version of “The Final Countdown” and “Mr. Saxobeat.”

3:30 p.m. — ALL OF THE LIGHTS!

3:29 p.m. — SHRED! Guitar solo to break up “No Diggity.”

3:28 p.m. — Go Go Gadjet is now performing a remix of “No Diggity.”

3:26 p.m. — Make that two LMFAO covers during this set from Go Go Gadjet! This time, it’s “Party Rock Anthem.”

3:24 p.m. — “You guys don’t sing all that bad, either,” Go Go Gadget said after the BJC hit the chorus of “Use Somebody” perfectly.

3:20 p.m. — Gadget is slowing it down now with a guitar-and-vocals cover of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon.

3:16 p.m. — “Only shooting stars break the mold.”

3:16 p.m. — Smash Mouth time! They didn’t have to ask the crowd for help singing along to “All-Star.”

3:15 p.m. — Fancy footwork from Gadget to introduce “Valerie!”

3:13 p.m. — TAKE ON ME!

3:12 p.m. — They’re back!

3:11 p.m. — “Can we take a little musical journey?”

3:00 p.m. — Gadget’s getting a little help from the crowd on the chorus of “Lean on Me.”

3:00 p.m. — Go Go Gadget has the BJC bumping as we enter the final hour of THON.

2:59 p.m. — …Blended seamlessly into Kanye West’s “Gold Digger!”

2:58 p.m. — Ridiculous falsetto from Go Gadget’s frontmen while singing “Abc…”

2:58 p.m. — HERE’S A SPONGEBOB REMIX!

2:57 p.m. — “I’m Blue” to Cardi B.’s “I Like It” from Go Go Gadget to kick off the set!

2:51 p.m. — This is Go Go Gadget’s 12th THON performance.

2:47 p.m. — Go Go Gadget is onstage and preparing to bring THON home!

2:35 p.m. — The Nittany Lion is in the DR captain huddle.

2:32 p.m. — The mic isn’t working , but you wouldn’t know it — the entire BJC is singing along.

2:30 p.m. — 2020 Line Dance captains have returned to the stage for their final line dance!

2:24 p.m. — The Singing Lions are performing “Dancing in the Sky.”

2:22 p.m. — The Singing Lions are now onstage to sing in memory of Lexi and Kirra.

2:15 p.m.

2:00 p.m. — THON’s “Celebration of Life” video is now playing to honor the kids who are no longer with us.

1:57 p.m. — “Although cancer took William from us physically, cancer did not take away who William was,” she said.

1:56 p.m. — “His light is the soft-spoken legacy of a boy who taught the world how to live,” Nesbit said.

1:55 p.m. — William was diagnosed with leukemia. He was declared cancer-free a year later, but relapsed five weeks later. He passed away in 2017. He was 12 years old.

“Throughout all of this, our THON family was there,” Nesbit said.

1:49 p.m. — “He was an old soul, with a giggle that was contagious,” Nesbit said. She added that William loved to fish.

1:49 p.m. — “I want to focus on William, because he was so much more than his cancer journey,” William’s mother, Amy Nesbit said.

1:47 p.m. — The William Sweger family is now speaking.

1:29 p.m. — THON’s “Where are They Now” video is playing on the BJC’s screens, briefly sharing the stories of THON children who have beaten cancer.

1:27 p.m. — “Be brave, be strong, be resilient be fierce,” Sara Consentino concluded.

1:26 p.m. — The Consentino family is pared with Penn State Ultimate Frisbee.

1:25 p.m. — “Positivity doesn’t cure cancer, but it does make dealing with all the horrible awfulness of it a bit easier,” Sara Consentino said.

1:24 p.m. — “I just decided it’s better to be happy than angry,” Celia told her mother during treatment.

1:23 p.m. — In 2018, Celia began experiencing symptoms and was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Celia and her family lived at Hershey from September to May, and she had to receive daily transfusions.

“It was around the third cycle that Celia became someone I didn’t recognize,” Sara Consentino said. “We truly didn’t know how she would make it through two more rounds of chemotherapy.”

1:16 p.m. — “Celia was always the quiet one, cheering on her sister at her plays and performances,” Sara Cosentino said about her daughter.

1:15 p.m. — The Nittany Lion has joined the next Family Hour speakers, the Celia Cosentino family, onstage.

1:14 p.m. — “We’re going to do a selfie because we can, and everyone is behind us,” Lecia Jordan said.

A loud “we love you Lily” cheer erupted from Club Crossfit’s section as the Jordans left the stage.

1:13 p.m. — Jordan had tickets to go see the Jonas Brothers last summer, but couldn’t go to the concert because of her treatment schedule. She was undergoing her last chemotherapy treatment when they visited her personally.

1:10 p.m. — Lily Jordan is now speaking. She was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer when she was 12 years old. her family was paired with Penn State’s Crossfit club when she began treatment at the Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey.

“We thought that they would be, for lack of a better word, a bunch of meatheads. They still are, but we love them,” Jordan said.

1:08 p.m. — The Jordan family’s three dancers are with them onstage.

1:07 p.m. — “When we were asked to speak, we knew it would be hard,” Lecia Jordan said.

1:07 — This is the Jordan family’s fifth THON.

1:06 — The Lily Jordan family will be this afternoon’s first Family Hour speakers.

1:04 — The Family Procession has ended.

12:53 — Loud cheers are erupting from each section as the families cross the stage.

12:49 — Four Diamonds Families are crossing the stage during the Family Procession.

12:43 — Four Diamonds families are now onstage for the THON Family Procession.

12:43 — Four Diamonds co-founder Charles Millard is now speaking.

“We want to thank you for everything you do for these families, they’re precious to us and we thank you.”

12:41 — Four Diamonds families will share their stories during Family Hour.

11:39 a.m. — Penn State men’s gymnastics put in another fantastic performance to claim its fourth consecutive THON Pep Rally title.

11:30 a.m. — OK Otter gives New Jersey a shoutout before launching into Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.”

11:26 a.m. — Uh oh…..Seven Nation Army time!!! Just kidding! Ok Otter flirted with the Seven Nation Army bass line before going into Wagon Wheel!

11:23 a.m. — OK Otter remains rocking on the BJC stage.

11:18 a.m. — Switch in the stands!

11:16 a.m. — “Chicken Fried” has the BJC clapping along.

11:05 a.m. — As the Final Four approaches, take a look at our guide to this year’s line dance recap for a refresher on those previous moves.

11:02 a.m. — OK Otter is rocking out with a softer, folk-based style at the moment.

10:50 a.m. — OK Otter, a family band from New Jersey, kicks off its set with “Send Me on My Way.”

10:49 a.m. — “Dancing Queen” is playing, so the BJC crowd is swaying.

10:43 a.m. — A group of performers is setting up on the BJC stage.

10:30 a.m. — GET READY FOR ANOTHER LINE DANCE, FOLKS.

10:26 a.m. — That’s a wrap for the 2020 Kids Fashion show. Man, these kids are stylish.

10:20 a.m. — It really doesn’t get any cuter than this.

10:11 a.m. — Julia O’toole is rocking quite the fashionable green tutu on the runway.

10:08 a.m. — First up we have Shiloh and her sister Harper.

10:07 a.m. — The stage is set for THON 2020’s Kids Fashion Show. Bring ’em out, bring ’em out.

9:59 a.m. — You know what time it is! Line dance time, baby.

9:54 a.m. — The mopping is still going strong.

9:40 a.m. — WE’RE SOARING, FLYING. High School Musical classics always pump up the crowd at the BJC.

9:30 a.m. — We’ve now entered phase two of mopping. Sections 106 and 107 are chanting to try and start the wave.

9:18 a.m. — The first round of Family Feud is underway in the stands. We’ll see what students know their famous Penn State alumni.

9:15 a.m. — Phase one of mopping has officially been initiated on the BJC floor.

9:11 a.m. — Eric and Molly Barron spoke to the THON crowd this morning.

“You know, everybody tells me that THON is about and a part of Penn State. But I would tell you that you are Penn State. You are this family that we love, and I just want you to know that the university you love loves you right back.”

9:03 a.m. — Seniors are feeling nostalgic as “Closer” rocks the BJC airwaves.

9:01 a.m. — Massage train and OPP mopping are happening at the same time.

8:53 a.m. — University President Eric Barron and his wife Molly paid a visit to THON and just left the BJC stage.

8:45 a.m. — Color Wars is a yearlong competition that allows Dancer Relations Committe Members and dancers to get to know each other.

8:44 a.m. — Red is this year’s Color Wars champion!

8:42 a.m. — Shakira’s Waka Waka has the BJC crowd singing along. Earlier today we heard K’naan’s “Waving Flag,” proving that the 2010 World Cup soundtrack was the greatest of all time.

8:32 a.m. — There’s a break on the BJC stage now as Slides of Strength continues on the floor.

8:20 a.m. — Cody Sabol’s THON 2020 speed painting.

8:15 a.m. — BUT FIRST: The Bungee Jumpers return for their second performance of the weekend!

8:14 a.m. — We’ll have a closer look at Sabol’s painting shortly.

8:13 a.m. — Painting complete after about ten minutes! Another Sabol masterpiece now on display in the BJC, and this one is a beauty.

“Be proud of what you’re doing here!” Sabol yelled before walking off the stage.

8:08 a.m. — ?

8:08 a.m. — Sabol’s painting is really coming together. Looks to be two halves of the Nittany Lion’s face in great detail.

8:04 a.m. — Right now the painting just seems to be a collections of lines and marks.

8:02 a.m. — It’s Pittsburgh native Cody Sabol! He’s about to start painting on the easel, but first he took a moment to dedicate it to his parents.

8:00 a.m. — A giant easel seems to have taken over the stage. What could it be?

7:58 a.m. — Last chance for raffle entry, folks. Don’t miss out on a signed Joe Jonas jersey.

7:51 a.m. — DANCER RELATIONS CAPTAINSSSS… (you know the rest).

7:44 a.m. — OPP is gearing up for a giant Slides of Strength in the middle of the dance floor. I don’t know about you, but it looks pretty fun to me. I’m jealous.

7:42 a.m. — Oh buddy, oh boy, they’re trying to start another wave. This time section 107 is leading the charge.

7:40 a.m. — ATTENTION DANCERS: This is your last chance to win points for color wars, so hop to it.

7:35 a.m. — Now they’re on stage! Grab your water bottle and chug along.

7:34 a.m. — Are you ready to hydrate with HOS? The Hospitality committee’s hydration hype video is playing on the big screens.

7:32 a.m. — It’s Massage Train time!! Spectators are turning to their left and right to give the person next to them a massage.

7:21 a.m. — It’s been awhile since anyone besides the Dancer Relations captains have taken the stage. Right now, it’s being used for groups of THON-goers to take pictures.

7:16 a.m. — It’s Mama Mia time! “DIGGIN’ THE DANCING QUEEEEEEEN.”

7:13 a.m. — For all of our alternative music fans out there, the BJC’s playing “Float On” by Modest Mouse. It’s a nice break from the electronic and pop.

7:07 a.m. — Getting a little bored? Check out our board — our BINGO board that is ha ha.

7:00 a.m. — They’re back again! Dancer Relations captains to the stage.

6:49 a.m. — Section 122 appears to be trying to start the wave. They’re having mixed success so far.

6:43 a.m. — How well do you really know THON? Put your knowledge to the test with the THON 2020 Trivia Quiz.

6:37 a.m. — An entertainment committee captain just took the stage to wish everyone in the BJC celebrating a birthday today, a happy birthday! So, from the blog to you, happy birthday!

6:28 a.m. — Oh no! A lone tennis ball bounced its way onto the floor. Thankfully, it was caught by a committee captain patrolling the area.

6:20 a.m. — The Line Dance is followed up with a Justin Bieber song blaring through the BJC — somehow, it’s just what we needed.

6:14 a.m. — Oh yeah, baby. Dancer Relations captains have taken the stage and Juliet’s back leading the crowd!

6:06 a.m. — Not much has been happening on the main stage, but there is some funky music playing. It’s kind of electronic and getting the people goin’.

5:53 a.m. — Now the Coda Conduct is taking the stage! They’re performing acapella and who doesn’t love that?

5:48 a.m. — The next two acts will be the winners of the Homecoming for the Glory talent show performances. Up first is the Penn State Dance Alliance, first place winners of the competition!

5:40 a.m. — DANCER RELATIONS CAPTAINS TO THE STAAAAGEEEE.

5:37 a.m. — A “Diamonds Up” scanner is patrolling the crowd looking for spectators with their hands raised high.

5:28 a.m. — The stands are ~slowly~ starting to fill up, folks.

5:20 a.m. — Dancers, did you hear that? Club Powerlifting is giving anyone who needs it a piggy back ride.

5:18 a.m. — Tapestry ends their performance with their diamonds high. FTK!

5:12 a.m. — Annnnnnnd Tapestry’s back! Woohoo! Let’s get it ladies! It’s finally tap time.

5:10 a.m. — The crowd seems to really like Volé! Shouts of encouragement can be heard throughout the BJC.

5:09 a.m. — Volé is up now. The ballet group is slowing things down a step, but still putting on an impressive performance.

5:05 a.m. — Wow! What a performance by Outcast, their neon green tops really lit up the place.

5:01 a.m. — There seems to be some technical difficulties with Tapestry’s music, so they’re swept off the stage and replaced by the Outcast Dance Team.

4:56 a.m. — Tapestry Dance Company is up next. The group’s lookin’ pretty sleek in all black clothing!

4:51 a.m. — Musician and performer Alex Mitrovic replaces PLL on stage. He’s calling on the BJC to help provide background vocals to his set.

4:46 a.m. — Penn State Lyrical Line is next to take a stage, starting off their dance with a routine to a definite popular THON favorite, “Someone To You” by BANNERS.

4:41 a.m. — Penn State student and musician Ryan Coleman takes the stage for another performance in the early hours of the morning, this time with an acoustic set.

4:34 a.m. — Dancer Relations captains take the stage and the crowd erupts in applause. Let’s get hype BJC!

4:26 a.m. — It’s water time, baby! The BJC is being challenged to a water bottle chug for a quick Water Social.

4:15 a.m. — Annnnnd just like that Vision to None finishes up their set and leaves the stage.

4:07 a.m. — Wild West hour? Vision to None’s playing an A Day to Remember song and it’s looking more like punk/emo hour to us.

4:01 a.m. — We’re gettin’ a little edgy out here! Vision to None rocks out with their cover of “Ocean Avenue” by Yellowcard.

3:56 a.m. — The band’s throwing it back again with “Take Me Home Tonight.”

3:48 a.m. — “Are you guys staying hydrated out there?” Vision to None called out before playing the All American Rejects’ hit song “Dirty Little Secrets.” We’re trying to!

3:42 a.m. — Vision to None joked with the crowd claiming the next song up was an original before playing the Chainsmokers’ “Closer.” And now, they’ve got the BJC jumpin’!

3:37 a.m. — “You’ve got mail!” … if you’re a dancer that is.

3:32 a.m. — Now the band is taking us back to the ’00s with a cover of Fountain of Wayne’s classic jam “Stacy’s Mom.”

3:25 a.m. — “I LOVE ROCK N’ ROLLLLLLL!”

3:23 a.m. — I think we speak for everyone when we say these guys are cool. The lead singers vocal range is somethin’ to see.

3:15 a.m. — Vision to None kicks off Wild West hour with a bangin’ cover of “Castle on the Hill.”

3:09 a.m. — Wild West theme hour has begun!

3:05 a.m. — It looks like the Blue Pony got stuck up on some Greek letters. The pink horse won by a large margin, folks.

3:04 a.m. — But before that, it looks like a horse race is getting ready to take over the BJC!

3:02 a.m. — The stage has a drum set now. It looks like someone’s getting ready for a performance.

2:54 a.m. — Dancer Relations captains have taken the stage! It’s Line Dance time, baby.

2:50 a.m. — Forsberg and Suskauer have performed a slew of ’80s top hits so far. They’re bringing the BJC to life with “Livin’ On A Prayer” now.

2:44 a.m. — Singer/songwriters Jasmine Forsberg and Becca Suskauer have taken the stage. They’re long time best friends and they’re rocking it with a rendition of “I Want to Dance with Somebody.”

2:38 a.m. — Dancer and performer Ohila Dibua from Baltimore, Maryland takes the stage for a performance mixed with martial arts, break dancing, and some comedy.

2:27 a.m. — Nashville based country singer Sam Schmidthuber is here and starting to perform.

2:19 a.m. — Dancer Relations captains take the stage yet again!

2:15 a.m. — The water social is underway.

2:06 a.m. — Crowd entertainment directors disperse throughout the BJC for a t-shirt toss.

2:02 a.m. — Mike the Mailman takes the stage for dancer mail call!

1:52 a.m. — Dancer Relations captains to the stage!

1:51 a.m. — That’s all for DJ Dosk.

1:47 a.m. — It’s High School Musical time with DJ Dosk. Let’s go!

1:43 a.m. — Let the good times role Dosk!

1:32 a.m. — Gotta love the DoskBear, folks.

1:26 a.m. — DJ Dosk is set to take the stage!

1:18 a.m. — Line dance still hasn’t gotten old!!!

1:12 a.m. — Dancer Relations captains to the stage!

1:10 a.m. — Mario and Luigi have both taken a beating in this one, but Luigi just got the win.

1:08 a.m. — The first-ever “Mario Bros Race” is about to take place.

1:05 a.m. — “Titanium” is now bumping on the BJC speakers. Despite the smaller crowd, we’re still vibing.

1:01 a.m. — I WANNA BE LIKE KANYE!

12:48 a.m. — The Thespians Society wins this round of Family Feud!

12:45 a.m. – Topics so far have included largest THON orgs and most common majors at Penn State.

12:37 a.m. — It’s Family Feud time! AZD and Lamda are facing off against Penn State Thespians Society.

12:36 a.m. — I miss Cash Cash.

12:31 a.m. — “I’m Ready” by AJR is now blasting over the speakers and mopping the BJC floor just got even more fun.

12:24 a.m. — The THON floor is getting a much needed mop after an eventful Saturday night.

12:14 a.m. — Dancer Relations do the thing!!!!! First line dance of Sunday!

12:07 a.m. — The Corner Brothers end with what is possibly the greatest singalong of all time: Billy Joel’s “Piano Man.”

12:04 a.m. — “Tonight, we are young,” the Corner Brothers sing to a crowd of THON dancers who have probably never felt older.

Saturday, February 22

11:57 p.m. — “Rocket Man” by the king Elton John up next. And I think it’s gonna be a long long time….. (until I can sit down again.)

11:52 p.m. — COUNTRY ROADSSSSSSS TAKE ME HOMEEEEEEEEE

11:50 p.m. — The Nickelodeon medley continues into the Spongebob theme song.

11:49 p.m. — Now they’re going into “My Shiny Teeth And Me” from the Fairly Odd Parents which has me wondering: are dancers brushing three times a day while they dance? Any floss on the premises?

11:47 p.m. — “Here’s a Penn State classic for y’all,” the Corner Brothers say as they go into Sweet Caroline. BUM BUM BUM, indeed.

11:43 p.m. — Everyone has had a Runaround Sue in their lives. Amen!

11:35 p.m. — HEY NOW! The Corner Brothers are “All Star”s!

11:32 p.m. — Up next is an absolute BARNBURNER, “Send Me On My Way.” Rusted Root ain’t rusted at all, brother! -HH

11:30 p.m. — While the dancers grub, the Corner Brothers have taken the stage to provide some acoustic singalongs. First up, “Sweet Home Alabama.”

11:15 p.m. — May the Dancer Relations captains please make their way towards the stage.

11:09 p.m. — When I first heard the rumors swirling I thought they meant the Cash Cab was coming. :(

11:08 p.m. — CONFETTI CANNON STRIKES AGAIN. THANK YOU CASH CASH.

11:06 p.m. — To close their set, Cash Cash played possibly their most known song, “Take Me Home” featuring Bebe Rexha. Truly an all-time surprise performance at THON.

11:02 p.m. — Playing with a balloon. They are illegal. Sup @THON

11:01 p.m. — MR. BRIGHTSIDE TIME!!!

10:57 p.m. — The accompanying visuals are total mind melters and definitely elevating this performance to a higher level.

10:54 p.m. — FIVE WORDS: ZOMBIE NATION FEATURING CASH CASH.

10:51 p.m. — Not the best song titled “How To Love” of all time (shoutout Lil Wayne,) but it still slaps.

9:37 p.m. — Women’s Volleyball up next to perform, the winner will be determined by the volume of applause. It’s going to be a tough choice between the talent of men’s gymnastics and the Kobe tribute from women’s volleyball.

9:36 p.m. — Men’s Gymnastics are up again, once again dazzling the BJC with their incredible performance.

9:33 p.m. — The Lionettes are up next, with some help from the Nittany Lion. The three-time national champion did not disappoint.

9:29 p.m. — Men’s Gymnastics is up next, and performed absolutely INSANE acrobatics for the people, while breakdancing and doing a ton of other cool stuff. They might be the real winners here tonight, folks.

9:27 p.m. — Women’s Lacrosse are next, dancing to the Wonderwall remix that was made famous by, uhh, every frat here, before going into “Waving Flag” by K’Naan, a throwback for AGES.

9:23 p.m. — Women’s Tennis are up now, and just had one girl walk over the backs of her teammates! They also brought tearaway pants, but this time they are all rocking all different neon colors!

9:21 p.m. — Mic Man and the Nittany Lion are back on stage, and the Nittany Lion, who has currently stood for approximately 26 hours straight, just did 46 one-armed push-ups for the kids. Impressive and inspiring!

9:19 p.m. — The men’s swim and dive team also featured American flag pants and also included a Kanye deep cut, “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” They then capped things off with the absolutely legendary “Sweet Victory” song from the Bubble Bowl episode of Spongebob. That’s a win, in my book.

9:17 p.m. — Niki Nolte, a member of the women’s swimming and diving team and a cancer survivor herself, is now on the stage to introduce the men’s swim and diving team.

9:16 p.m. — Men’s Golf just got the party started by bringing tearaway pants and revealing bright pink shorts underneath all the golfers. An excellent touch.

9:14 p.m. — Women’s rugby is next, starting out with the “Eye Of The Tiger” and featured a player who performed a magnificent handspring.

9:11 p.m. — The football team turned in an incredible performance, featuring players jumping over players a’la Mike Gesicki, flips, splits, and other athletic feats.

9:09 p.m. — Up next is the football team. Sean Clifford, Pat Freiermuth, and Micah Parsons are onstage throwing t-shirts UNBELIEVABLY far.

9:07 p.m. — Women’s Volleyball are now onstage, wearing patriotic American flag pants. Starting their routine out with a Kobe quote was an incredibly nice touch and on brand for the success volleyball has had over the years.

9:03 p.m. — Since the theme of the 2020 THON Pep Rally is Olympic athletes, PJ Mullen invited Penn State Olympic Athletes to the stage.

Jenny Brown, an Olympic gold medalist swimmer from the 1968 and 1972 Olympics just led the BJC in a “We Are!” chant.

9:01 p.m. — Taking the stage now is the Field Hockey team, who get instant points for their tracksuit Rocky theme. This performance featured a ton of acrobatics and other fun dance moves.

8:58 p.m. — Men’s Lacrosse now takes the stage, all rocking matching jumpsuits and cowboy hats. They kick things off with Kesha’s “Timber” to match the cowboy theme. They then threw all their hats into the crowd as souvenirs.

8:55 p.m. — Women’s Golf is next, who instantly threw it back to simpler times with a routine featuring “Fire Burning” by Sean Kingston. The highlight of their performance by far was their “home run” dance tribute to Trace McSorley.

8:53 p.m. — Up next is Men’s Soccer, performing an acrobatic dance routine featuring Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” “Magic” by B.o.B, and “Renegade.”

8:50 p.m. — Men’s Tennis is next, who are performing a slow motion dance routine to “Chariots of Fire” which turned into a more upbeat medley of songs like “Dance Monkey” and “Evacuate The Dancefloor.”

8:47 p.m. — Women’s Soccer just joined the stage following a video introduction by soccer alumni and current Women’s U.S. National Team members and World Cup champions Ali Krieger and Alyssa Naeher!

8:46 p.m. –Guest judge Brayden just said his favorite sport was wrestling, so PJ decided to bring out PSU wrestling champion Bo Nickal to judge with Brayden!

8:35 p.m. — The Blue Band is performing “I Want You Back” while the Blue Sapphire performs!

8:34 p.m. — The cheerleaders have taken the stage! The Blue Band performed “Let’s Go State” while the BJC faithful replaced “PSU!” with “FTK!” in the song.

4:59 a.m. — We’re getting into some slow hours here at the BJC, but fear not! The dab cam is making its first appearance on the big screen.

4:45 a.m. — None of the Above a cappella group is now taking the stage.

4:39 a.m. — For their fifth year in a row at THON, Reve Dance Company will now take the stage.

4:36 a.m. — Hospitality is now serving dancers breakfast. Items on the menu include:

3:25 a.m. — State College-based band Lowjack is set to take the stage!

3:21 a.m. — Matchbox Twenty’s “3 AM” is currently playing. Baby, it is indeed three a.m.

3:13 a.m. — The Price Is Right is starting now! The winner will earn $2,500 towards their respective organization.

3:04 a.m. — T-shirt colors starting to blend in as you look out onto the BJC floor? Here’s what each one means.

2:55 a.m. — They’re back…. DANCER RELATIONS CAPTAINS TO THE STAGE!

2:52 a.m. — ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Irish-step dancing to Jennifer Lopez’ “Let’s Get Loud” and “Zombie Nation.” That gets the people going, indeed.

2:49 a.m. — Rince na Leon — Penn State’s first and only Irish dance club — now takes the stage to wrap up this round of performances.

2:47 a.m. — Guys, Shades of Blue’s beat-boxer is still going.

2:41 a.m. — We’ve made it to the Slides of Strength!

2:40 a.m. — Shades of Blue also has a beat-boxer in the crew. You want to talk about range? Unreal.

2:37 a.m. — Here’s Shades of Blue, a Penn State co-ed a cappella group. They open up their set with a rendition of Nick Jonas’ “Levels.”

2:34 a.m. — Ram Squad opened up their performance with dances to Will Smith’s “Friend Like Me” and Nicki Minaj’s “Chun-Li.” No messing around from this crew.

2:31 a.m. — Performances are starting up again at the BJC. Ram Squad will now take the stage.

2:30 a.m. — It’s never too early to start thinking about football season, folks.

2:19 a.m. — Back like they never left! Dancer Relations Captains to the stage!

2:16 a.m. — It’s time for the massage train here at the BJC. Loosen up folks, you’re doing great!

2:07 a.m. — The BJC is now holding a “Renegade” contest on the big screen. It’s getting a little weird but we’re #vibing!

2:04 a.m. — We’re starting to hit some quiet hours here at the BJC, but dancers and those in attendance use a variety of strategies to keep themselves busy.

2:02 a.m. — ACDC’s “Thunderstruck” is now being played at the water social. Unbelievable song selection. Let’s get amped.

2:00 a.m. — The water social has begun. Fill up your bottles and chug, BJC!

1:59 a.m. — The line dance still hasn’t gotten old, folks.

1:52 a.m. — YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS! Dancer Relations Captains to the stage!

1:51 a.m. — Island Fever’s high-energy routine is pumping some much-needed energy into the BJC.

1:47 a.m. — It’s cold in State College, but the BJC is starting to heat up with Island Fever’s dance routine.

1:43 a.m. — Savoir Faire closes out their set with a strong performance of Pat Benatar’s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.”

1:35 a.m. — Oh by the way, the Big Uglies are now on the floor of the BJC! We’ve been here for awhile, but this is really starting to feel like Beaver Stadium.

1:32 a.m. — Penn State’s a cappella group Savoir Faire has now taken the stage. They open up their set with a rendition of Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours.”

1:28 a.m. — Field Day Theme Hour has begun!

1:23 a.m. — Sher Bhangra now takes the stage. This dance routine is awesome, by the way.

1:15 a.m. — The Dancer Relations Captains are back. Let’s go!

1:11 a.m. — That’s it for Deal or No Deal. We’re not hitting a break in between performances.

1:03 a.m. — There’s plenty of options when it comes to rocking a No. 46 sports jersey at #THON2020.

1:02 a.m. — THON History Deal or No Deal is now being played.

1:01 a.m. — As we hit the wee hours of the morning, Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine” blares over the speakers.

12:54 a.m. — Dancer Relations Captains have returned to the stage!

12:52 a.m. — Black is now followed up by the Dark Storm Step Team. This is a tap-dancing clinic, folks.

12:50 a.m. — In case you haven’t heard, everyone is “Renegading” at #THON2020. We want to see yours!

12:47 a.m. — Oh boy. Black is now singing along to The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way.”

12:44 a.m. — Black is getting the whole BJC involved with his performance. The crowd may be thinning out a bit, but the energy remains high.

12:39 a.m. — Black opens up his set with a spirited performance of Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams.”

12:37 a.m. — That’s all from Urban Dance Troupe. Waldo Black is now taking the stage.

12:34 a.m. — The interactive performance has led the troupe to performances of “Old Town Road” and “Renegade.”

12:32 a.m. — Urban Dance Troupe has now taken the stage for its very first-ever interactive performance.

12:22 a.m. — And now she’s back on stage with her fellow Dancer Relations captains for another line dance.

12:20 a.m. — Line dance leader Juliet Garrigan is now back on stage, not to lead the line dance, but to guide the dancers in what they’re calling the seventh inning stretch.

7:47 p.m. — Several Disney princesses from the A Moment of Magic Foundation are greeting children on the BJC floor.

7:41 p.m. — A Lion King mix is currently playing as kid’s mail call comes to an end.

7:40 p.m. — It’s dinner time on the BJC floor. Tonight’s menu:

7:34 p.m. — Disney hour, the weekend’s first theme hour, is underway.

6:10 p.m. — Four Diamonds co-founder Charles Millard thanked the BJC crowd for its efforts at his 43rd THON.

6:08 p.m. — Penn State women’s volleyball’s Emily Sciorra has performed in several THON Pep Rallies with her team over the course of her collegiate career.

This year, however, she’s one of THON’s 707 dancers.

6:04 p.m. — The BJC is in full THON-mode now as dancers embark on their 46-hour journey.

6:02 p.m. — Hour one.

6:00 p.m. — THE DANCERS ARE STANDING!

5:59 p.m. — The Nittany Lion has taken the stage!

5:56 p.m. — THON’s executive committee are being introduced onstage by Regina Duessler.

5:51 p.m. — Org letters are bouncing here in the stands as 6 p.m. approaches.

5:50 p.m. — Dancers stand in 10 minutes!

5:47 p.m. — K Camp’s “Lottery [Renegade]” just played for the first time in the BJC. It won’t be the song’s last appearance, but that’s a good thing if you have the dance down.

5:45 p.m. — State College will be officially known as the “City of THON” in 15 minutes.

5:44 p.m. — Smooth moves from Ambitions here as they dance to a mashup of “Happier” and “Sunflower.”

5:43 p.m. — Dance group Ambitions is up next.

5:40 p.m. — Not THONing this weekend? There’s plenty to do outside the BJC.

5:36 p.m. — Grammy Award-winning rapper Frzy takes the stage! He’s accompanied by a turntable — expect hype beats.

“Oh we’re gonna have a good time tonight,” he said. “We’re gonna make history tonight.”

5:34 p.m. — The stands are joining Mary Jo Swank for the final chorus of “Forever Young.”

5:33 p.m. — The BJC floor will soon be rocking. Dancers stand in less than 30 minutes.

5:29 p.m. — Mary Jo Swank is onstage now, singing a powerful rendition of Alphaville’s “Forever Young” before transitioning into “Halo” by Beyonce.

“Thank you for having me take part in something beautiful,” she said. “This is For The Kids.”

5:22 p.m. — Next, Centre Dance took the stage to flash some moves and get the crowd pumped ahead of THON’s official start.

5:17 p.m. — This year’s THON Kickoff Show got off to a dazzling start with a performance from the Show Twirlers.

5:10 p.m. — Members from R&R came onstage to discuss safety rules for the weekend, including evacuation plans and severe weather threats.

5:06 p.m. — A Four Diamonds family joined members from the Penn State Thespians on stage in singing the national anthem.

5:00 p.m. — Just one hour until dancers stand! In the meantime, feel free to check out THON’s new merchandise, which reflects this year’s theme in some pretty cool ways.

4:56 p.m. — It’s official, folks. State College Mayor Ron Filippelli came on stage at the BJC to proclaim State College the “City Of THON” for the entire weekend.

4:50 p.m. — Follow our coverage of THON 2020 as we profile dancers, interview student supporters, and maybe even shower in the BJC bathrooms.

4:47 p.m. — The lights are dimming here at the BJC, and this year’s “Journey Together” logo is shining bright above the stage.
