Distraction of the Day: Franco Harris Singing

Franco Harris has been a polarizing figure in the Penn State community lately. He has taken it upon himself to be a very public figure throughout the turmoil at Penn State over the past 11 months.

When we last left our hero, Harris was interrupting the Board of Trustees meeting and speaking at the very successful “Rally for Resignations” on the following day.

Now, thanks to YouTube member Sylvia W., we get to see a lighter, more soulful side to Harris. Watch below as Franco belts everyone’s favorite banned-from-Beaver-Stadium song, “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. With the help of a lyric sheet, Franco serenades an exuberant crowd full of middle-aged Penn State fans.
