Tired of sitting in line for the traditional run-of-the-mill places to take your grad photos? We did a series last year of "The Worst Places to Take Your Grad Photos," and it was so good, we decided to follow up with another series this year: our best hipster effort at the most obscure places to take grad photos.
Fans will be able to get their first look at Bill O'Brien's 2013 squad as the Nittany Lions conclude spring football in Beaver Stadium with the annual Blue-White game. Kickoff is set for noon with the contest airing on Big Ten Network. As the day unfolds, we will be frequently updating this page to bring you the most comprehensive Blue-White coverage from pregame warmups to postgame recaps and reactions from players and coaches.

MOOCs are open to everybody and don't count for course credits, so there's a definite difference between them and regular online classes. Still, when they were mentioned amongst Onward Staters we were reminded of personal experiences with cyber courses. A debate emerged -- what pros and cons do online classes provide?

Penn State football players Allen Robinson and Bill Belton sent fear into any Penn State fan on Twitter last night who forgot what day it was. The duo, with some help from other members of the "Supa Six," sent the Nittany Nation Twittersphere into pandemonium last night with a series of terrifying Tweets indicating that the pair was transferring.
With five wrestlers in tonight’s NCAA Championships, Penn State aims for its third consecutive national title. Currently clinging to a 5-point lead over second place Oklahoma State (114.5-109.5), it will be up to Nico Megaludis, David Taylor, Matt Brown, Ed Ruth, and Quentin Wright to keep the Nittany Lions in first place.
Jeff Fisher, the popular Marketing and Promotions Manager of Penn State Football and all Olympic Sports, was removed from his position last week. It is unknown at this point who will assume the responsibilities left behind after his dismissal.
Onward State would like to extend an invitation to its March Madness pool where participants can battle staff writers to compete for some awesome prizes. Anyone is welcome to play!

The student activity fee that will fund CCSG is paid for by students at University Park and it should be governed by students at University Park or simply abolished. The fact that only four students on the SAFB represent University Park interests (Scott, Lennartz, Malloy, Fisher) is an alarming impropriety that is not often discussed. The student activity fee is paid BY the students FOR the students -- why shouldn't students determine how it is spent?

@PSUpoops twitter account is about exactly what it sounds like: poop. So, if you are in 3rd grade or are a bro that still has to stifle giggles when anyone mentions the word poop, give them a follow and read on. We sat down (surprisingly not in a bathroom) to ask them 10 questions.

IIt’s the most wonderful time of the year. December is the time we start to trade in our notebooks for everything peppermint flavored and North Face. It’s also the time of year when you begin receiving invites to everyone’s holiday themed parties. Everyone knows about "ugly Christmas sweater" parties, but there are so many more different types of holiday parties to throw. Here's a rundown.

Dan Myers, the principal owner of the State College-based multi-media company Lazerpro, has proposed the creation of an off-campus, independent Hall of Fame featuring the history of Penn State football.
We hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner and are ready for one final installment of staff predictions for the 2012 season. While you may have disagreed with opinions at times, hopefully you found this to be an entertaining Friday segment that made you think about the upcoming game. With all that said, it is time to hear our writers' picks one more time as the Penn State Nittany Lions (7-4, 5-2) are set to host the Wisconsin Badgers (7-4, 4-3) in what is sure to be an emotional Senior Day at Beaver Stadium.

The editors, writers, photographers, and illustrator of Onward State would like to share with our readers what we are thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Before Thanksgiving break really gets underway, there is a football game to play at Beaver Stadium tomorrow as the Penn State Nittany Lions (6-4, 4-2) host the Indiana Hoosiers (4-6, 2-4) in a noon kickoff. Check out what our writers are thinking about the Big Ten Leaders Division contest.
Student Body President Courtney Lennartz announced in her comments for the good of the order at last night's meeting that she met with the Tavern Association earlier this week, and that downtown bars will NOT close on State Patty's Day this year despite her request.
Lennartz cited the fact that downtown bars lost over $100,000 on State Patty's Day last year by not opening. Were they really surprised?
The Penn State Nittany Lions (6-3, 4-1) are set to take on the eighteenth ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-2, 4-1) tomorrow afternoon at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska for their final road trip of the season. Let's get right to the picks and see what our writers are thinking about the Big Ten showdown.
Earlier this week, we published a list of the 100 Reasons Why We Still Are Penn State. One of the most incredible reasons is THON, with over 15,000 students participating in the ubiquitous philanthropy every year. With THON only 100 days away on February 15, we bring to you a list of the 100 reasons why the organization means so much to so many people. These are truly the reasons "Why We Dance" -- all for the kids!
