Once a premier Penn State late night food staple, Wings Over Happy Valley will have new hours this year. The wing behemoth will now close at 1 a.m. nightly, down from the 3:45 a.m. closing time customers have come to expect over the years.

Local muralist Michael Pilato is doing what he says is "righting a personal wrong" by painting halos back above Joe Paterno and all other deceased members of his downtown Inspiration Mural.

Although a judge threw out the felony ethnic intimidation charge filed against a Penn State student who allegedly targeted another student because of his ethnicity yesterday, District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller says her office plans to refile that charge.

Facebook shut down a page purporting to represent a "Penn State White Student Union" -- although the university claims the page wasn't affiliated with anyone at Penn State.
