Instead of sticking to his normal duties on the football field, Coach Franklin popped by Professor James Tierney's Economy 104 class yesterday morning to talk to students about Leadership.
Sigma Chi fraternity kicked off its annual week-long philanthropy Sunday, known lovingly as Derby Days. The week-long competition started with Penny Wars in the HUB and continued Monday evening with a field day at the Sigma Chi house, which included a Paint Bucket challenge, Egg Toss, Tug of War, and Pi A Chi (how clever).
Penn State's resident medium, Monica Ten-Kate, is set to take her abilities to TV. Ten-Kate will star in "Monica the Medium on ABC Family, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
This Saturday, former Penn State Interfraternity Council President Daniel Florencio will dance in the 2015 Hollywood Dance Marathon in, well, Hollywood. This is his second time dancing in the Hollywood Dance Marathon, now a four-year old annual tradition. Florencio, a brother of Zeta Psi, served as IFC president in 2011.
