Phi Gamma Delta to Hold FIJI Push
On Sunday, September 8th from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Phi Gamma Delta, in association with Interfraternity Council, are proud to partner with the United Services Organization (USO) to raise money for our troops overseas. Teams of eight will gather to see who can push a 5,000lb. humvee the fastest down Pollock Road on campus for prizes to local restaurants and shops, to be announced. Our goal for the event is to raise more $5,000 and involve more than 30 teams!
The concept is simple. Fraternities, sororities, athletic teams, other on-campus groups, in addition to residents of the State College community will build teams of eight participants and race, one team at a time, to push a military Hummer across the finish line the fastest. Each team must raise a minimum of $80 to participate, and will be eligible to win prizes to local businesses.
