This is my personal experience at JVP's statue just a few days before it was removed. I am sharing this story to show people that the media will find facts to support THEIR story, opposite of the way it should be.

Some might know me. Some might not. I’m a local. My mother is a local. I was raised in Park Forest; you know, that patch of woods by Walmart on N. Atherton St. I went to State High and graduated before the Y2K nonsense. I even dated Mike the Mailman’s daughter (briefly). I then went on to Penn State and graduated in 2005. I now own Quiznos on Beaver Ave in “The Canyon”, the nefarious riot zone. Now you all have a little perspective. Here are a townies’ thoughts on State Patty’s Day.
