My mother is what I like to refer to as a "helicopter parent." She hovers. She nags. She calls me sixteen times a day just to make sure that I'm still breathing, to check that I'm going to class, and to find out any new dirt on my younger brother's life. Fans of Comedy Central are no strangers to the stand-up comedy and sketches of Nick Swardson. Will Ferrell's "Funny or Die Tour" at the BJC in 2008 brought Swardson here for the first time. He appeared once again in 2009 to open for Patton Oswalt performing in the HUB.
