Penn State Campus Residential Dining is serving Asian cuisine at all dining halls across campus, on Tuesday February 13 during regular dinner hours.
Continuing with the chance to experience different cultures, dining hall locations will showcase unique and new food items from Asia for students to enjoy. This event will feature new Asian menu items such as mahi mango and tofu sombal in banana leaves.
Don’t forget to grab dessert on the way out and try some Coconut Rice Pudding or the Sweet Won Ton Triangle.
Snap some pictures of your favorite menu items with the Asian Cuisine custom Snapchat filter, post them to your story, and send them to @PennStateDining for a chance to win prizes.
Immerse yourself in the culture by watching authentic dances from the Asian region performed by The Penn State International Dance Ensemble (PSIDE) throughout the evening. They will be at Findlay Commons at 5:15 p.m., Pollock at 6:15 p.m. and Redifer at 7:15 p.m. Dances will include The Chinese Umbrella, K-Pop (Korean) and several others.
This is a dinner that is sure to please all and promises new experiences. Be sure to keep up with Penn State Residential Dining for more special events, by following us on all forms of social media at, @PennStateDining.
