Wide Receiver Winston Eubanks Transfers To Penn State Football

Penn State football added a wideout to its receiving corps Friday night when Winston Eubanks announced his transfer to the program.

Eubanks, who previously attended Shippensburg University (Division II), announced his decision via his Twitter account.

Eubanks dominated the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) during his three years on the field for the Raiders. After redshirting his freshman year, he totaled 148 receptions worth 2,853 yards and 28 touchdowns the next three years.

His stellar performance helped him earn first-team All-PSAC Eastern Division honors all three seasons. Additionally, he was named PSAC Eastern Division Freshman of the Year in 2017.

He served as a team captain for Shippensburg during the 2019 season and earned the same honor for the 2020 season before announcing his transfer decision.

Eubanks is the second Division II wide receiver to join the Nittany Lions over the past two seasons. Last season, Weston Carr came to Penn State as a graduate transfer after spending his undergraduate years at Azusa Pacific.

Currently, it’s unclear if Eubanks will suit up for the Nittany Lions this season.
