Diving Into Weirdoughs’ Weirdest Instagram Posts

Ever since opening in early September, Weirdoughs Custom Pizzeria has generated lots of buzz.

Despite occasionally long wait times and other minor annoyances, our staff raved about the new downtown pizza joint. As basically a direct competitor to Snap, Weirdoughs had the chance to solidify itself as a downtown staple. But there’s been a major roadblock: its always eccentric and sometimes creepy Instagram account.

We’ve been monitoring Weirdoughs’ posts for a while. It started out with hilariously unfunny memes, but it’s descended into strangely on-brand territory. To show you just what we mean, we’ve compiled some of the best examples of Weirdoughs’ weird Instagram account.

This post was the tipping point. What the hell is this? We could only fit so much in the screenshot but the caption keeps going on and on about papa and momma bears.

They posted again about the weird bear thing and followed up with an advertisement about fundraising at their restaurant.

Yes, they have a Dave Portnoy tribute wall in their store. No, he’s never been there.

Something about a pizzeria having a “best sexiest Halloween costume” contest doesn’t sit right with me. Not to mention the random posting of slut-shaming memes.

I’m really not sure what they’re going for with this bacon boy thing.

We didn’t give them permission to use our graphic. Go off, I guess.

This is the reason Penn State football lost to Indiana.

The sex obsession really is strange. I’m not sure what sort of brand they’re going for, but I certainly wouldn’t feel comfortable eating my pizza from a place that “puts the D in Delivery.”

Last but not least: Lion Cash soup.
