Penn State Football Releases Early-Season Kickoff Times

Penn State football is just 100 days away, and the season feels closer than ever now that a few kickoff times are set in stone.

The Nittany Lions will begin their season with a road trip to Wisconsin on Saturday, September 4. That game will kick off at noon on FOX as part of the network’s Big Noon Kickoff show.

One week later, Penn State will face Ball State at Beaver Stadium. The Nittany Lions’ home opener will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on FS1.

Penn State’s matchup with Auburn on September 18 — a potential White Out game (or at least we hope so) — is headed to prime time. That clash will begin at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

The team also revealed a few details about other matchups. Penn State’s matchup with Iowa on Saturday, October 9, will be on FOX or FS1, but no kickoff time is official yet. Penn State will welcome Illinois for a noon homecoming kickoff on Saturday, October 23, but a TV destination is up in the air.

Penn State Athletics hasn’t announced formal plans to sell tickets or host fans, but the department already has a few plans in the works just in case.
