Penn State Football Cornerback Daryus Dixson Listed As Questionable On Tuesday Availability Report

Penn State football cornerback Daryus Dixson is one of four players listed as questionable for the Nittany Lions’ Friday night showdown against Northwestern, per the Big Ten’s Tuesday availability report.

Dixson has started every game for Penn State this season so far, tallying five total tackles, one interception, and one pass defended.

He picked off Wisconsin quarterback Colton Joseph early in the second quarter. He played 46 snaps in Week 4.

Linebacker Cam Smith and cornerback Christian Askew are back up to questionable after missing the Wisconsin game. They were listed as questionable throughout the week before being ruled out on Saturday.

Kickoff specialist Cristiano Rosa is also currently listed as questionable heading into Friday.

The Nittany Lions made no changes to Saturday’s availability report regarding players listed as out.

Defensive end Max Granville and offensive lineman Will Tompkins are out for the season. Wide receiver Koby Howard and defensive end Lavar Arrington II will miss a few more weeks as they recover from injury.

Other players who are a no-go against the Wildcats include cornerbacks Joshua Johnson and Tyler Armstead, defensive ends Mason Robinson and Dayshaun Burnett, and tight end Cooper Alexander.
