CCSG Looks Forward to a Successful Year

The Council of Commonwealth Student Governments has their sights set on big things this year.

Already in progress, President Mohamed Raouda and Vice President Peter Khoury are working to tighten the bonds between CCSG and UPUA. CCSG and UPUA are working to create a joint session at a CCSG Council Weekend, which will help better the Commonwealth by giving them more outlets to receive information about various student topics.

CCSG is also strengthening its commitment to the 19 Commonwealth Campuses. It is a common misconception that CCSG is the Central Staff based out of University Park, however, CCSG includes the Student Governments of all of the Commonwealth Campuses.

Raouda and Khoury visited many of the Commonwealth Campuses before starting the school year. They plan to incorporate common issues affecting many of the campuses, such as transitioning and student services, into this year’s agenda.
