The JoePas Album
CALLING ALL PENN STATERS!
In case you haven’t heard, Penn State has a brand new all male a cappella group called The JoePas! Our group consists of 12 Penn State students who perform popular songs as well as PSU classics.
Since our foundation in August of 2011, we’ve shared a number of incredible experiences. We began the school year with weekly football Saturday performances on the sidewalks of downtown State College. Next, we managed to learn enough material to put on two full-length, semester-ending concerts. To top it all off, we placed 2nd in the semi-finals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella – an accomplishment we are extremely proud of. BUT, we aren’t finished. Now we aim to encapsulate this first year of our existence by recording our first album, and we need your help.
There is quite a bit that goes into the production of a successful album. From tracking to mixing, editing, and mastering, all aspects of the process require a great deal of time, effort, and funding. While we are always eager to put in the necessary time and effort, we do not currently have the funds to complete the project. As a result, we’ve launched a fundraising campaign to help move us toward our goal of raising the estimated $6,000 we need to do this the right way.
At the bottom of this message, you will find a link to our Indiegogo Kick Start Fundraiser website – a secure site where donations can be made by credit card. We would be so grateful for any amount you would be willing to contribute to this cause. To sweeten the deal, we’ve offered a number of perks for those who donate, ranging from a copy of the album signed by every member to a live performance at your home, place of work, school, or really, wherever!
We understand that donating is not always an option, so we would like to offer another avenue for helping us achieve our goal: get the word out. Please share this Onward State article and Indiegogo link with whomever you think may also want to support us and post the video onto Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets. In the end, we’re truly grateful for any action you may take on our behalf.
Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting The JoePas in this endeavor! WE ARE!
