The Penn State Board of Trustees approved a 4.4% increase in the room and board fees for 2011-2012 in their meeting this past Friday. This increase will help cover the cost of renovation and maintenance to current areas of need, as well as property expenses.
The Penn State Board of Trustees must have woken up on the right side of the bed last Friday morning, as they approved various plans during their meeting November 5.

The Presidential Leadership Academy is presenting their findings on high-risk college drinking to the leaders of State College this Wednesday, November 10th. The meeting, which is an open event, will take place in room 304 of the State College Borough Building, 243 S. Allen St. at 7pm.
