Everyone knows about the PSU-MSU Blood Donor Challenge hosted every year by our Student Red Cross Club. Well, this year the SRCC has coordinated with students at Ohio State to create another blood-drive rivalry. We are currently trailing in units, but the drive continues through April 29th.
This Saturday, legendary horror-punk band The Misfits will perform at the Arena Bar and Grill on Martin Street, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the concert starting at eight. The band was originally scheduled to play at Mezzanine, but the venue was changed and now the show is 21 and over only. Anyone under 21 who purchased tickets needs to see Mezzanine for a refund, according to the Arena's website.
Penn State’s Essence of Joy will present their spring concert in Esber Recital Hall in Music Building 1 on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. The musical offering will commemorate the choir's 20th anniversary and the 60th birthday of director Dr. Anthony Leach.
