One of Penn State's prized commitments for the 2013 football class had an interesting time when he opened the mailbox this afternoon.
Redshirt freshman Jared Fagnano, a 5'10" wide receiver from Akron, announced that he will be transferring to Penn State to join his brother Jake, redshirt senior and listed as the starting strong safety, in the first year of the O'Brien era.
On September 27th, a documentary "Why We Dance: The Story of THON" will air on WPSU-TV at 8 p.m. The documentary will give light to parts of the philanthropic effort that most people haven't seen.
That magical time of year is quickly approaching. Summer sun gives way to autumn leaves as Saturdays are spent inside Beaver Stadium rather than on the beach. It has been seven and a half months since the Penn State Nittany Lions took the field. It feels like seven and a half years given the tumultuous offseason. The ARWU is often used when it comes to, frankly, showing off. Plenty of schools use it as their legitimate ranking in speaking with media or simply letting future students know how great their school is. Let's face it, saying you go to one of the top 50 schools on the planet sounds pretty awesome.
