The 2012 Penn State football season endured a lot of changes from programs of the past: new coaches, new uniforms, new plays. But at least one thing remained the same -- a passionate fan base packing Beaver Stadium every Saturday. According to a release, Penn State ranked 5th in attendance last year of all NCAA teams, with an average of 96,730 fans per game.
Penn State once again made Forbes list of the most valuable college football programs in the country, coming in at number 13. This number is 10 lower than the previous year's 3rd place ranking, which should come as little surprise given the situation the football team faced last year.
