Aaron Carter is making his 2013 Penn State return at the beginning of the Fall '13 semester.
Penn State football locked up their second recruit of the day, gaining a commitment from Michigan linebacker Jared Wangler. Wangler, from De La Salle high school in Warren Michigan, is Penn State's ninth verbal commit for 2014 and fourth on the defensive side of the ball.
Penn State's 2014 recruiting class now stands at eight members with a verbal commitment from Marcus Allen, a 6-1, 187-pound safety from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Per Rivals, Allen had also received offers from a number of Big Ten programs -- Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, and Wisconsin, in addition to incoming members Maryland and Rutgers.
Barbara Doran, Ted Brown, and Bill Oldsey got most of the hype as far as new Board of Trustees members go, but Penn State will be adding another trustee at its next meeting in July.
