
A tradition on campus since the 1980s, one of Penn State's biggest events of the year starts today. University Park will become home to 2,000 athletes, 750 coaches and 2,500 volunteers as the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games kick off from June 6-8.

A 21-year-old woman is facing multiple counts of theft and fraud after an incident at Penn State's Berkey Creamery. Alexandra Otero allegedly used a student's ID card to purchase about $40 worth of merchandise from the creamery in April.

Former Miami of Ohio guard Allen Roberts has made the decision to transfer to Penn State and play basketball for the Nittany Lions, according to Alex Kline of Rivals.com. Roberts helps to fill a void that was formed when Jermaine Marshall, the team's leading scorer last season, made the decision to forego his senior year and enter the draft.
