
One of Penn State football's most beloved coaches will reportedly leave the team. Craig Fitzgerald, the team's Director of Strength and Conditioning since January of 2012, will be the latest Penn State coach to join Bill O'Brien's staff in Houston.

At tomorrow's BCS Championship game in Pasadena, John Urschel will be publicly honored during the first quarter for winning the 2013 William V. Campbell Trophy as the nation's best football scholar-athlete.

Miami coach Al Golden, who emerged as the favorite to take the Penn State head coaching job in recent days, released a statement this afternoon reaffirming his commitment to Miami and denying his candidacy for other jobs.
