Once again, Penn State takes the top spot on a ranking list. The No. 1 spot on this list speaks to how well we, the students of Penn State, party when power-ranked against other universities popular among Philadelphia residents. Penn State beat out 20 other schools, including Rutgers, to claim the title.
As soon as I heard that Bill Ayers was going to be speaking at Penn State University, I knew what would happen next. Outrage expressed by state Senator Joe Scarnati and others, requiring an official statement from university spokesperson Lisa Powers, followed the official announcement. This outrage is equal parts predictable and nonsense.

The Engineering Graduate Student Council’s 12th annual College of Engineering Research Symposium (CERS) is set for April 2, 2015, at the Nittany Lion Inn. The event is free and open to the public and begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
