Though neither of them attended Penn State, they both invested significant sums of money in the university. Their relationship was, in fact, Penn State’s first bromance.
Neha Gupta, the 2014 International Children’s Peace Prize winner, is taking her good deeds to Penn State. Gupta's been in contact with the university in an effort to bring her organization, Empower Orphans, to campus, and hopes to get students excited and involved in the effort. To date, Empower Orphans has raised $1.7 million and helped 25,000 children.
