THON got some recognition from the PA House of Representatives yesterday after it passed a resolution honoring the accomplishments of Penn State students this February.

The defense rested without calling any witnesses in former Penn State president Graham Spanier's trial Thursday morning.

"The fact that you also are really appreciating how vital this is to the quality of life for the student body - it is so amazing that the last class gift was to fund an endowment for a counseling center," Patrick said. "These are really incredible steps."

"How can we not aspire to be more when Penn State is the one we're serving? This is a special place. She deserves your best."

Ever wonder about the history of the pig statues located downtown? You might be surprised to know that one was originally stolen back in 2001.
