
The Nittany Lions could not notch their first win of the season as they drew against Loyola Marymount 1-1.

The Big Ten needed to grant the former Penn State 125-pound wrestler a waiver that would allow him to bypass the conference's rule that he would have to sit out a season, and apparently this waiver was granted.

Junior Moira Putsch scored a goal and assisted two more in the victory over the Demon Deacons. Juniors Aurelia Meijer, Gini Bramley, and Katie Dembrowski were among the other goal scorers, while junior goalie Jenny Rizzo made nine saves.
