Penn State junior Ethan "Beef" Wolfe was tragically killed after a two-car collision on Christmas Eve, Penn State's department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education announced today.
Miami coach Al Golden, who emerged as the favorite to take the Penn State head coaching job in recent days, released a statement this afternoon reaffirming his commitment to Miami and denying his candidacy for other jobs.
Christian Hackenberg told Newsplex.com, a news organization, in Charlottesville, VA, that he has "no intention of transferring" and is looking forward to next season in a video package published today. Of course, no one is expecting Hackenberg to transfer, but the assurance is nice after less-than-assuring remarks made by his father earlier this week.
I couldn't help but be compelled the first time I read through the story Tuesday. On the surface, it has significant shock value and information you won't find anywhere else.
