Brittany Hicks and Chris Carmody's original song "Diamonds in the Air," which they debuted at the Mr. and Mrs. THON Pageant last month, was released on iTunes on Friday. Hicks and Carmody came up with the idea of writing an original song about THON when the two were selected as Mr. and Mrs. PR for the Mr. and Mrs. THON Pageant. “Diamonds In The Air,” which features Carmody playing the guitar and rapping and Hicks singing, was a combined effort between the two earlier in the semester. The song is available on iTunes for $0.99, and all proceeds benefit THON. Hicks and Carmody decided to release it on iTunes after the song's widespread popularity following its debut at the Mr. and Mrs. THON Pageant.
