Movin' On announced today that it will move the date of its 2014 concert up one week from May 2, 2014 to April 25, 2014, and move its location to the field next to the law building.
Three-star offensive lineman Brendan Brosnan out of Park Ridge, Illinois has decided to join James Franklin and several other former Vanderbilt recruits in Happy Valley, according to Steve Wiltfong of 24/7 Sports.
James Franklin will reportedly bring a bevy of people from his staff at Vanderbilt to Happy Valley: defensive coordinator/safeties Bob Shoop, chief-of-staff Jemal Griffin, assistant coach/co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Brent Pry, director of performance enhancement Dwight Galt, offensive recruiting coordinator/wide receivers coach Josh Gattis, and special teams coordinator/tight ends coach Charles Bankins.
For a few minutes, it looked like Penn State basketball team was going to flip the script, and do to IU hoops what IU football did to Penn State back in October. However, it was for naught, as the Hoosiers took down the Nittany Lions, 79-76.
James Franklin is officially the 16th head football coach in Penn State history. While that means a lot of things, the most important thing, of course, is that Franklin's name and likeness are going to be put on corny t-shirts throughout Happy Valley sooner rather than later, because any time a person can be put on a t-shirt in one way or another, it's going to happen. So, as the clothing stories send their BILLieve and O'Brien's Lions shirts off to impoverished countries, it's time to get those Franklin shirts on the presses.
The terms of new Penn State head football coach James Franklin's new contract will not become official until this afternoon. However, according to Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports, Franklin is about to get a huge payday to the tune of 6 years and $4.5 million annually.
