
Most of us dread the ten-minute walk to our 8 a.m., but most of us aren't Jared Reichbaum. The former Penn State Altoona student walked from New Jersey to Nevada in order to raise awareness about the importance of bone marrow donation through an organization called "Be The Match."

To senior Jenna Loffredo, dancing for 46 hours in THON 2016 just wasn't enough to fulfill her desire to fight cancer. She also serves as Executive Director for this year's Relay For Life.

State College vapers are in luck, as Valley Vapes just opened downtown.

Sophomore and Alpha Chi Omega sister Victoria Veneziano was shocked when she heard her named announced as the recipient of one of THON's biggest raffle prizes: a trip to Europe. The trip will take her to London, Paris, and Rome and includes guided tours and airfare.

After being closed for maintenance, the HUB lawn will once again be a prime location for tanning, carnivals, fairs, speakers, and concerts.

Each year, many volunteers work hard to ensure THON's success; one of the behind-the-scenes, yet vitally important, positions includes working as an LT. "I think our biggest goal is to provide support, leadership, and encouragement throughout the entire THON season," Materna said.
