The Big Ten announced its men's basketball conference schedule today and, to put it bluntly, Penn State fans should be in an uproar. Arguably Penn State's two biggest home games of the year, versus Purdue and Michigan State, will occur three days within each other. The dates? January 5 and January 8. The problem? The women's soccer team got Penn State athletics off to an exciting start on Friday night as the #13 Lady Lions knocked off #24 West Virginia by a score of 2-1 in overtime. Redshirt freshman Tani Costa scored the game-winner with less than a minute left in the extra period. The win makes the soccer team and Penn State as a whole 1-0 on the season!!
