Have you ever wanted to try something different? To stray away from the status quo, and break free from the norm? That's exactly what the founding members of Club Croquet, Penn State's own unique croquet team, intended to do when they started the group -- "Club Croq" for short -- in 2008. Fast forward seven years, and the club finally played its first ever competitive match this Sunday against the Naval Academy.
There's no excuse now. Penn State students just received even more incentive to attend men's basketball home games at the Bryce Jordan Center with the announcement that non-conference home games will have no charge for admission for full-time students.

Penn State men's volleyball season couldn't have gotten off to a worse start. The Nittany Lions (now 13-9, 7-0) went winless in the season-opening Outrigger Invitational held in Hawaii, and came back to the mainland to face a brutal stretch of games, including matches against two of the top teams in the country -- Loyola Chicago and Lewis -- on back-to-back nights. Things didn't look too promising, but that all changed after it won decisively on the road against Sacred Heart on Feb. 27.
