
UPUA did not endorse any candidates for Borough Council seats Tuesday night. Actually, UPUA hasn't endorsed any candidates for Borough Council at all, and most likely won't. BugPAC =/= UPUA.

Horne and Ford introduced the movement and explained the importance of reclaiming State College for student interests, as students represent 70 percent of the Borough Council's constituency but are essentially ignored by much of the current Borough Council.

Frustrated with the current local government's disregard for student interests, student government leaders Terry Ford and Kevin Horne created the BugPAC campaign to, in their words, "reclaim State College" for students.
