Penn State Hockey Drops Heartbreaker To No. 1 Minnesota

Penn State was able to erase an early 2-0 deficit, but couldn't hold off the no. 1 Minnesota Gophers after Ben Marshall scored with four minutes left to give the Gophers the 3-2 victory in the first Big Ten game at Pegula. Penn State is now 4-11-1 on the year.

UPUA Coasts Into Winter Break

Our student government met for the last time of the semester on Wednesday night, and, for the sixth week in a row, the General Assembly was relatively quiet. Men’s Hockey Drops Big Ten Opener To Wisconsin 7-1

After a humbling 5-4 loss to Union last Sunday, the men's hockey team looked to rebound against No. 17 Wisconsin and snap the recent four-game skid. However, the Nittany Lions were no match for the overpowering Badgers and Penn State dropped its Big Ten opener 7-1. Penn State is now 3-8-1 on the year following the loss.

State Patty’s Day Bar Closure Discussions To Continue

Another meeting between the Student Alcohol Advisory Committee (SAAC) and bar owners regarding State Patty's Day will take place tomorrow, according to UPUA Vice President Brenden Dooley. The first meeting between the groups took place two weeks ago, and there are plans for more discussions going forward.
